It is with great honour that while I was employed by the RFA, & sailing on the Tide Surge, in 1973-1974, we were privileged to accompany the Royal Yacht, for nearly seven months while The Queen, all the Royal family & Lord Mountbatten were touring the pacific. May she now rest in peace. All my condolence

Catherine, Elizabeth, and Beatrice Nightingale Dawkins, Cambourne

Thank you. Two small words to offer for the legacy that Queen Elizabeth has left; a life of service, duty, and love. She always appeared modest and humble. She looked out for everyone, for ways she could bring positive change, and always had her smile and a twinkle in her eyes. A great sense of humour, a great diplomat, apolitical whilst able to subtly indicate her views and very clever. Above all she seemed loving. Loving to her family, country, commonwealth and the wider world - and animals. x

Graham and Deth Symons, St Neots

I was lucky enough to be working when you came to visit Royal Papworth Hospital after its move to the new site at Cambridge. You looked beautiful in your cerise pink outfit and a smile that warmed the room as you passed through. A vision to behold and a strength and wisdom tbat we all so love. Rest in peace your Majesty
